On May 7, State Education Development Agency and Horizon 2020 National Contact Point in Latvia organise the National Info Day on the BBI JU Call for proposals in 2020.
Dieter Brigitta, BBI JU Project Officer, and Nelo Emerencia, Director Programming of BIC, will reflect on similarities and differences between Horizon 2020 and BBI JU programmes, as well as provide a short overview of the BBI JU Call 2020 topics. Furthermore, Mr. Brigitta will advise on tips&tricks in good proposal writing.
Dr. Janis Ancans, Coordinator of Horizon 2020 National Contact Point of Latvia, will present an overview of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe opportunities. Ministry of Education and Science will present “Bioeconomy R&D instruments of Latvia”.
Dr. Jānis Rižikovs, Scientific Director and Leading Researcher of Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry will present “LSIWC experience and competences in the context of BBI JU projects”.
James Philp, OECD Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation will present "Sustainability of bio-based products: an OECD perspective".
Jānis Paiders, Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia will present: "R&D funding instruments in Latvia and their role in the development of bioeconomy".
Pēteris Cābulis, Project managmanager of Spin-Off company of Latvian State institute of Wood chemistry SIA Ritols will present "Road to successful proposal".
The event is organized in SEDA, Riga and will be held in English. It is free of charge but requires registration
