Lignobiotech IV Symposium | Spain

Between 19-22 June, LignoBiotech will held the 'LignoBiotech IV Symposium', dedicated to 'Biotechnology applied to Lignocelluloses', in Madrid, Spain.

This symposium aims to bring together the most recent advances on biotechnology and related sciences applied to theuse of biomass as renewable raw material. From fundamentals to application, the Symposium will cover genomic, biochemical, technological, downstream processing and environmental issues related to the use of biotechnology for the production of biofuels, chemicals and other products from cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and other lignocellulose components.

Pilar Llorente, BBI JU Programme Officer, will be presenting Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking and its initiatives 'Towards a bio-based fuel and chemical sector in Europe'.
