CBE JU is joining the 2022 European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) to co-organise the Industry Track, a series of sessions dedicated to the biomass and bioenergy industry stakeholders to exchange cutting-edge information and raise their knowledge about the future of the industry sector.
CBE JU is also the organiser of four sessions:
-Woody biomass to bio-based packaging
-Food & agricultural waste to bio-based end products
-Sustainable biomass sources for fibres & textile
-Aquatic biomass: a diverse input for a variety of end products
CBE JU Executive Director will take part in the Scientific Opening Plenary Session, and he will chair the Industry Track panel discussion "Partnerships as a catalyst for growth of bio-based industries". He is also a committee member for the Giuliano Grassi Prize for Excellence in Biomass Industrial Deployment. CBE JU Head of Programmes will take part in the Closing Session.
As the largest biomass conference and exhibition in the world, EUBCE brings together the greatest minds and latest advancement in biomass and aims to accelerate research and market uptake across the globe.
In organising several sessions and co-organising the Industry Track Sessions, CBE JU will help move the primary focus on biomass and bioenergy to include a wide range of bio-based products that contribute to resource-efficient and sustainable, low carbon economies.
