The European Bioeconomy Congress Lodzkie 2018 aims to support the development of bioeconomy in Central and Eastern European Bioregions. The focus will be on issues such as smog, digitization in closed cycle, modern technologies in bioeconomy and high-quality food.
The European Bioeconomy Congress Lodzkie 2018 will take place on September 24th, 2018, in Lodz, Poland. This year’s Congress will be a gathering of about 800 participants, including experts from local governments and regulatory bodies, business representatives, academia and NGOs. The objectives of the Congress are to network Central and Eastern European Bioregions, to support transfer of knowledge between European bioregions; to increase industry involvement in local bioeconomy value chains as well as to increase participation in the European and national programs for bioeconomy development.
Paloma Mallorquin, BBI JU Project Officer, will participate in the plenary session and give a presentation on “The Biobased Industry Joint Undertaking: Contributing to build innovation ecosystem in Bioeconomy”.
