On 12 April 2019, BBI JU organised its sixth Info Day in Brussels, following the official launch of the 2019 Call for proposals.
This year’s event broke all our previous Info Day records: we had more than 700 registrations, more than 1400 connections via web-streaming and participants coming from 37 different countries.
The morning sessions provided information about the BBI JU initiative and all aspects of the Call process. Details of the 2019 Call topics as well as more information on the event are available on the BBI JU website.
In addition to plenty of informal networking during the breaks, the afternoon provided an opportunity for participants to hold face-to-face meetings using the professional/corporate profile in the BBI JU Partnering Platform. During the afternoon more than 800 face-to-face meetings took place.
Throughout the day, the BBI JU's Programme Office staff was also available to answer questions about the Call process and procedure. The participants had also the opportunity to speak to representatives from BBI JU's founding partners and Member States as well as exchange views with entities in synergy with BBI JU: European Commission (DG Environment, Blue Bioeconomy Forum (DG MARE), Research Enquiry Service (RES), Executive Agency for SMEs (EASME)), Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC), BioHorizon National Contact Points (NCPs), Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
A video recording of the event is available. Watch the 2019 BBI JU Info Day.
