The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) is a €2 billion partnership between the European Union and the Bio-based Industries Consortium that funds projects advancing competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe.
The Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking launches annual Call for Proposals. All stakeholders (large industries, SMEs, technology providers, academia, RTOs) are encouraged to take part in this new venture and contribute to the deployment of a new and sustainable economy.
The Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking is a new €3.7 billion Public-Private Partnership between the EU and the Bio-based Industries Consortium. Operating under Horizon 2020, it is driven by the Vision and Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda (SIRA) developed by the industry.
